CAS dismissed the appeal filed by the football player Ruslan Zaerko against Nizhny Novgorod

CAS dismissed the appeal filed by the player and confirmed the decision issued by the RFU Dispute Resolution Chamber to reject the player’s claim that the club shall pay him a compensation for termination of the contract in the amount of its residual value. The player shall bear costs of arbitration, his own costs and was ordered to pay to FC Nizhny Novgorod a contribution towards its legal fees and other expenses occurred in connection with arbitration proceedings.
