FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) decided in favor of the player Sunday Damilare Adetunji (Nigeria) in his employment-related dispute against the football club Shkupi (North Macedonia)

FIFA DRC acknowledged that the club did not have just cause to terminate the contract with the player. Thus, the club’s demand for compensation for breach of contract was rejected.

At the same time, FIFA accepted the player’s counterclaim towards the club for recovery of the salary debt arising, in particular, from the violation of the disciplinary sanction procedure by the club.

The proceedings on the club’s appeal to CAS were terminated.
