CAS reattributed 9 points to FC Altay

On 24 October 2014 the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rendered a decision on case of FC Altay against Football  Federation of Kazakhstan and Professional Football League of Kazakhstan. CAS annulled the decision of the Federation and the League on 9 ponts deduction from FC Altay and reattributed the points to the club.

To remind, on 6 May 2016 the League under instruction of the  Federation had deducted 9 points form FC Altay in Kazakhstan Championship based on non-performance of FIFA decisions by Football Club Vostok.
During the hearing on case, FC Altay manage to prove that the decision of the League and the Federation is unlawful.
As a result of 9 points return, FC Altay at the finish of the Championship is placing on the second place, that gives the Club a possibility to qualify the Premier League of Kazakhstan.
