CAS ruled in favor of a football intermediary in a dispute against a Russian top club

The Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS) fully satisfied the claims of our client, a football intermediary, towards a Russian club regarding payment of the remuneration for the provided services, i.e., participation in the negotiations with a football player.

The Sole Arbitrator agreed with our position that the football intermediary properly rendered its services at the time the player signed the employment contract with the club. This fact was exhaustively confirmed by the submitted documents. Contrary to the club’s stance, any further events, such as the suspension of the employment contract by the player based on the FIFA regulations, do not affect our client’s right to receive remuneration in full.
