Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) overturned the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee regarding confirming FC Nizhny Novgorod as a sporting successor of FC Volga on Dani Bondarv’s application

On August 31, 2021, the Court of Arbitration of Sport (CAS) delivered an award regarding FC Nizhny Novgorod’s appeal against the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on establishing a sporting succession between FC Volga and FC Nizhny Novgorod on Dani Bondarv’s application.

CAS annulled the FIFA Disciplinary Committee’s decision and refused to confirm FC Nizhny Novgorod as a sporting successor of FC Volga.
