FC Lokomotiv Moscow is obligated to pay FC Academy under the decision of the Arbitration Court

Moscow Arbitration Court decided that the FC Lokomotiv must pay FC Academy a part of transfer amount for transfer of the goalkeeper Alexander Filtsov from FC Lokomotiv to FC Krasnodar.

Under transfer agreement between FC Lokomotiv Moscow and FC Academy, Lokomotiv has assumed an obligation to pay to Academy a part of the amount of player’s later transfer to a third club. However, when such a transfer occurred, Lokomotiv refused to pay. Academy, having ceased to participate in RFU competitions, claimed to the arbitration court and won. FC Academy was represented by partner of Legal Sport Mikhail Prokopets.
