Launching of the SILA office in Spain!

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new SILA International Lawyers office in Valencia (Spain). Spain is recognized as one of the countries with a high level of football, so we consider opening our company’s office in Valencia as a strategically correct vector for further development of our business.

The Spanish office will be headed by Ivan Bykovskiy, an experienced sports lawyer, a former legal adviser with the Russian Football Union, a practicing attorney-at-law admitted to the Valencia Bar Association. Previously, an associate of one of the best sports law firms globally, Ruiz-Huerta y Crespo, based in Valencia.

Ivan graduated from the Moscow State Law University  (O.E. Koutafin) (MSAL) and two universities in Spain – UNIR, and VIU, and holds a master’s degree in international sports law from ISDE University in Madrid.

Ivan has repeatedly represented the interests of famous clubs, football players, athletes, and agents during his work. Ivan is the author of numerous articles for the magazine Football Legal.

In addition to football-related issues, the Valencia office plans to develop other sports such as basketball, futsal, tennis, and others.

The Valencia office will be the sixth international office of the company. Until now, SILA comprises the offices in Switzerland, Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Kazakhstan that are successfully operating.
