Markin has no fault or negligence in doping violation

Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) has decided the case of the volleyball player Alexander Markin, whose sample contained the prohibited substance “Meldonium”.

FIVB Disciplinary Panel concluded that the athlete has no fault or negligence in doping violation, and, consequently, no period of ineligibility shall be imposed on the athlete.
