Mikhail Prokopets took part in the FIDE General Assembly as a representative of the Russian Chess Federation

Partner at SILA International Lawyers, Mikhail Prokopets, spoke on the issue of the possible admission of Russian chess players to FIDE team competitions, from which they had previously been barred. 

Following a heated debate and subsequent vote, a decision was adopted by a majority to allow Russian chess players to participate in all official FIDE competitions.

We thank the Russian Chess Federation for its trust and hope that the victories of Russian chess players will not be long in coming.
