The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) dismissed the appeal filed by Yeni Mersin Idman Yurdu A.S (Yeni Mersin) against the Bulgarian player, Spas Delev, and FIFA and confirmed the FIFA Disciplinary Committee decision

The Panel found that Yeni Mersin is the sporting successor of Mersin Idman Yurdu and made some very important points on sporting succession, which will help developing the jurisprudence in that area.
