Who will win the WSOP 2022 Main Event after 10 days of poker?

To win the World Series of Poker, you have to come from good stock. With a little luck, you won't make it. After all, the WSOP 2022 lasts ten days. That means stamina will also play a part. In addition, you will of course be competing against the global top players in this card game. Great poker players such as last year's winner Koray Aldemir and other former winners are also competing this year for the coveted bracelet. Living Legend Doyle Brunson will not be in attendance. Jamie Gold who was the 2006 WSOP winner is also not playing this year.

On the first day a number of ex WSOP winners came into action right away. Qui Nguyen, Martin Jacobsen and John Cynn managed to build their chip counts on the first day right away. Ryan Riess who won the event in 2013 surrendered chips, but is out of the danger zone for now. Of the Dutch and Belgian poker players, Mateusz Moolhuizen, Sebastiaan de Jonge, Daniel Reijmer, Pieter Aerts, and Kenny Hallaert were already in action on day one. Of that group, only Daniel Reijmer, Pieter Aerts, and Kenny Hallaert managed to qualify for the second day. If you feel like playing poker check out our poker page.

Jorryt van Hoof still the best Dutchman at WSOP Main Event

Every year it is hoping for Dutch success at the WSOP. Yet it does not happen very often that we see Dutchmen at the WSOP final table. Jorryt van Hoof finished third at the 2014 WSOP Main Event and won the amazing sum of $3,807,753. Michiel Brummelhuis was the first Dutchman to reach a WSOP Main Event final table. That was in 2013. Brummelhuis finished seventh, taking $1,225,356. A Dutch WSOP Main Event winner has yet to emerge.
