YADRO Motorsport wins at ALMS in Sepang!

On 7-8 December, the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia hosted the first two stages of the Asian Le Mans Series of the 2024-2025 season, a prestigious Asian racing series awarding its winners with entries to the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The YADRO Motorsport team was represented by two crews in Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars in the GT class, prepared by the Winward Racing team:
• #16 – Sergey Stolyarov (RUS), Viktor Shaitar (RUS), Maro Engel (GER)
• #81 – Rinat Salikhov (RUS), Gabriele Piana (ITA), Jules Gounon (AND)

Car #81 finished P6 in Race 1, but in the final protocol was classified P5 after a penalty for rivals in front for violating the regulations.
Unfortunately, #16 was forced to retire after a collision with LMP3 sports prototype.
Race 2 was aborted ahead of schedule for safety reasons due to a storm, but at the time of red flags, #81 was in the lead and was declared the winner of the GT class, while #16 was classified P11.
